Demi thought about the song he was mentioned. There was a lot of songs named smile, but the the way their music interests were going she had an idea of who it was by. She bit he rlip at his question, trying to think of something that actually mattered to answer with. "Well..you're really sweet and you're funny. We have a lot of things in common. And you're not a jerk in the slightest bit. Which to me is a really great thing." she said, smiling a bit.

Kevin nodded, trying to imagine as to how she could think of him like that. No one ever told him that, which made him smile widely. As for a jerk, he thought of himself as one, but he tried to do his best to keep from being one. Maybe it was something that all guys just had built into them, but he didn't want to be that way, especially to her. "Thanks," Was his simple reply, making him feel a bit stupid for saying only that. "So does anything about me bother you?" He asked, a slight hesitation in his tone. He knew his flaws, it was nice to hear about his good traits for once.

Demi shook her head, not really finding anything wrong with him. Well, as far as she knew. It was like he didn't have anything wrong with him, she wouldn't say that he was perfect, no one is. Yet, he came close to it in her opinion. "Nothing at all," she said. It was a bit cheesy, not that she ever minded 'cheesy'. It's kind of what she liked in a relationship, everything being sweet. Even if it got annoying to everyone else around them.

Kevin half-smiled, knowing that she couldn't mean it. There were a lot of things that she didn't know about him. For example he had a drinking problem. He denied it, but it was still there. He did know that he probably shouldn't drink as much as he did but he couldn't stop. It was too hard for him to do by himself so he simply drank. "What's something about yourself that you don't tell most people?" He asked, tilting his head to the side a bit. He wasn't completely sure if she trusted him or not, but he sure wanted her to. "You can trust me," He promised, his tone was soft.

Demi bit her lip, trying to think something she didn't generally tell everyone. She was usually an open person and people could tell what she was feeling, she wasn't one to hide things. Well not lately, coming to the house had began to make her more reserved. "Something I don't tell people.." she thought aloud. "Even though I tell tell everyone that I can do things on my own and that I don't need anyone..I've always wanted..well, needed someone," she said, looking around. "I know it's really stupid for a person my age, but have you ever felt so alone when you're surrounded by people daily, like no one understands you,"

Kevin nodded his head when she spoke, listening to what she was saying. It made a lot of sense and he could understand why she had said it, he could even relate to it. When she asked him if he ever felt like that he nodded again and wrapped his arms tighter around her waist. "I feel like that a lot." He said, kissing her cheek shyly. It was nice being around her though, he didn't feel as alone. Hopefully he made her feel better too.

Demi smiled meekly. He understood what she meant and didn't shrug it off like other people would. It was nice to find someone who got it and for them to be an amazing person only made it that much better. Kevin made her smile a whole lot and she sort of felt good about herself when she was around him. Sure she wasn't as open as she would be, but she didn't want to get hurt. "You're kind of everything I've ever looked for," she whispered.

Kevin half-smiled and kissed the top of her head before resting his head back on a pillow. It was easier for him to kiss her head and cheek and those kind of parts instead of her lips. He was still nervous when it came to that. They were rushing though, a lot, but he couldn't seem to help himself. He liked her, she was a really great person from what he saw. "And to think it only took a few hours" He teased, tickling her sides a bit before pushing himself up so his back was against the headboard.

Demi laughed, hitting him playfully. "I take that back, you are a jerk," she teased, wrinkling her nose a bit. So he was funny..and he liked to playfully tease her or just people in general. She pushed his hands away and sat up next to him. "It's kind of weird..really. she said. She liked him, she just didn't want to get to close and then get hurt. She was over getting hurt over and over again.

Kevin faked a hurt look when she had hit him and couldn't help but start laughing. He liked this, how they were, and just being with her. It was surprisingly fun just hanging out in a room with nothing to do. Plus, when he looked out the window he noticed the rain. "Maybe we should do our date tomorrow, tonight we could just hang and I could make you dinner or something?" He suggested, wondering what she would say about it. Hopefully she would still want to hang out with them if they went on the date tomorrow instead.

Demi nodded, frowning a bit as she noticed the rain, meaning no beach tonight. yet she didn't really care if they went out or stayed here at the house. And the idea of them still having dinner together wasn't a bad one. "Sure, sounds like a plan," she said, giving him a small smile. "And you can cook? Wow, is there anything you can't do?" she joked, nudging him slightly.. He was fun to be around and just playing around was probably the most fun she had, had in a while.

Kevin laughed and reached over, grabbing her around the waist playfully and doubling his arms around her. He placed a firm kiss on her cheek before letting go and laying down on his stomach, looking over at her from the corners of his eyes. "Well, I can't fly." He teased, poking her in the side with a goofy smile plastered on his face. "I also can't draw." His laugh filled the room, obviously he was having a blast with this girl.

Demi followed suit and got on her stomach, laughing a bit. "Well that's a shame,'' she said, referring to the flying thing. She poked him back after he did, grinning. "Everyone can draw..it's just..abstract," she said. She believed that anyone could do whatever they wanted, just in different ways. "People just do things in weird ways, you may not think your drawings are very good, but some person would think that they're great art,"

"I can't even draw a stick figure, I don't think that's art in anyone's eyes." He chuckled and got up, walking around the room before sitting back down on the bed. He mostly did it because he wanted to stretch his legs out. "Wanna play a game or something?" He asked her, trying to think of something for them to play. In his mind he faintly remembered playing strip poker with Selena, but he didn't remember much about that night, making him wonder if he did anything. He knew that he wouldn't have had sex with the girl, because he wasn't like that, but he still wanted to know. "I'm up for anything." He smiled and ran his fingers through his hair.

Demi sat up and sat Indian style, watching him as he walked around the room. "What did you have in mind?" she asked, trying to think of a game they could play. She found it a bit funny how two adults where going to play a game out of boredom. But it was fun, he was unpredictable unlike most people she knew. She could remember planning out Selena's every move and have them be correct but not him. Kevin was always surprising her, even on day one and nothing got boring and she liked that.
