Musical Marathon

[Joe Jonas]

It was another boring day in the house, and it had brought Joe out of his room. Oringinally he'd planned on making something to eat, but then he remembered the Mac and Chesee episode and decided against it. So he'd turned into the Lounge figuring to have a Musical marathon. He needed it, he was still a rather uneasy of wheather to come out to the entire house or not. He popped Hairspray into the DVD player. As the previews rolled he ran into the kitchen and poured a bowl of cereal, not wanting to risk burning popcorn.

"Damn previews, how I hate them." He said, fastforwarding through them, and starting the movie. Smiling as Good Morning Baltimore started to play, and then singing along.

Vanessa woke up that morning and sat on her bed, after taking her sleeping mask off... She looked around into her room disoriented, and groaned as she fell back into her pillows, staring up at the ceiling. For once she had absolutely nothing to do that weekend, and that was because she made sure to clear her schedule so she could get some rest, that she needed so much, and just do stuff she hadn't done in two months or so! She looked at her watch just to realize that it was almost noon.

Vanessa threw the covers off her and headed to her bathroom, for her usual morning ritual... When she was done she got dressed and decided to leave her room and maybe try to socialize a bit. She walked to the lounge and looked towards the TV screen to see that it was Hairspray playing. She thought that it maybe was Zac or something but in second thought she knew that he didn't like watching at his own movies. She then noticed that it was Joe Ooooh! Hairspray! Can I watch?

He felt a wave of embarrassment crash over him as he realized that he was no longer alone. And it wasn't someone close to him, it was Vanessa, so the fact that he'd been singing along was awkward. He shook his head as he stopped singing, and took a bite of his cereal. "No not at all, Vanessa right? I could use the company. Been avoiding people recently, but I think that little phase is over." He said, finishing off his cereal. He looked at his empty bowl as he got up to go place it in the sink. He felt his stomach growl, deciding to face his nemisis, Mac and Chesse. "I'm going to attempt to make some Mac and Chesse, would you like some?"

He was going throught the cupboards, looking for what he need. He found it quicker this time. He waited for her to respond, that way he wouldn't make to much. But just enough to last the duration of the movie. And the one after that. So that meant roughly two to three boxes. Unless she wanted som then four to five, possibly. He flashed a smile as Tracy dragged Penny home yelling 'Hurry up Penny we're going to miss it!' Only to hear Penny yell "But mother says I'm not allowed to prespire!' It allways made him, laugh or smile. But always happy, the whole movie did. Especially Ms. Baltimore Crabs, it was the best song in the musical. "You have a favorite part, 'Nessa?"

I just woke up and it will mess up my stomach if I don't have a coffee first[/color] she said with a small laugh before she moved and took a seat to the couch. Looking at the screen

She watched the movie so many times that she almost knew the whole thing. She went to almost all the premieres for support to Zac. It was his first movie after HSM after all and he needed all the support he could get on his attempt. And as every proper best friend must do she was there. And she had to admit that she was really impressed... The whole kissing with Nikki thing grossed her out a bit but she never really understood the reason. It just freaked her out. She guess that's what her friends who had a brother must feIt when they had to watch their brothers making out... That's how she saw things. A brother/sister situation, even though brothers and sisters don't really french kiss, for a movie of course, but still...

Ummm If I had to choose I'd say... I can hear the bells, Ladies Choice and You can't stop the beat. it's the parts that excite me the most, no idea why... Plus Zac is giving his all at the last two so I guess it's pride?[/color] she asked smiling How about you? Which part do you like the most?[/color] Vanessa asked him[/size][/blockquote]

He nodded as she answered, totally getting her reasons. Though not agreeing with all of them, but that was him. "Oh, well I love Ms. Baltimore Crabs. Because the beat is amazing, and Amber's mom just has to be my favorite character, she is like a total bitch. So I can relate, in fact my family calls me the family bitch. And a slut. Which I don't understand, after all I'm still a virgin." he said, unable to keep a straight face with that last sentence. He continued to prepare his food, careful not to mess it up, and continue with his statement. "I also like I Can Hear the Bells. Its a beautiful song, but Good Morning Baltimore is simply fantastic. I really can't stand You Can't Stop The Beat. Since they song is basically over for like 5 minutes, and then John's character Edna has to start the song back up. And then Penny has to continue it. It's just not very understandable, well not logical. Like the rest of the movie is."

He smiled, remembering those infamous naked pics. Not that he had looked at them, he wasn't attracted to her in that way. Not that he was intially attracted to those he dated, but he felt a connection, in that way. "Ahh, but if you knew me you'd call me a slut. Or man whore, which ever term you prefer. Remember all us repressed Christian kids rebel. Especially us Jonas kids, except Kevkev, and Nick. So me, I'm the only one. I feel so special." he paused for a moment, emptying the contents of the pan into a large bowl, grabbed a fork, and hurriedly throwing the dishes in the sink. He'd wash them later. "Eh, I guess, but they could have made the gap more believable. But it's still a good movie. Zac's hot in it, like usual." He said, bringing a forkful of his perfectly cooked mac and chesse to his mouth, wondering if she'd catch his last sentence.

During filming and such or whenever she was at Zac's she would always steal T-shirts and stuff like that, implying that she forgot her PJ's whenever she was staying over. She saw so many times herself in the tabloids with titles above her head that she and Zac were dating, just because she would wear his clothes or spend the night at each other's houses. She couldn't understand why the term "best friends" wasn't sitting well with the press... Well, she guessed that if they were dating the tabloids would sell more, but they just didn't see each other that way! It was true that the instantly clicked with each other, but not in the sexual/love interest way... Poor him! They made him dye his hair and gain weight for the part... He wouldn't stop complaining about the hair thing![/color] she said laughing That's one of the reasons he developed the habit of wearing beanies[/color][/size][/blockquote]

"Yes, yes I do. And it is heaven. That boy has an amazing body. It is one of the best I've seen, but I've done better. That beanie fact, I didn't know that, but they just make him look hotter." He dreamed, eyes glazing over, letting out a slow sigh. He tried to picture Zac, in his arms, but it didn't work. The guy was too straight. It was sad, he knew the guy had to be good. Okay, we are not going there mind. No, no, no I forbid you from going there. Do you understand me? Good because we are totally NOT going there. He thought laughing as he shook his head.

He focused his attention back on the television. But it wasn't a great time to do so, because it was Zac singing Ladies Choice. Which totally made his perveted thoughts enter once more into his head. And once more, he had to shush his mind. Why is my mind such a pervert? Okay its not a seperate entity but, im not that perverted all the time am I? Joe lifted the fork to his mouth once more. Tasting the chesse melt on his tongue, the flavor good, and not mushy. So much better than before. "So how is it working with Zac? Weren't you ever tempted to date him, or did you date him? I read it in the tabloids but you can never trust those things. And if you didn't who where those pics for? Sorry if I'm being nosy, you don't have to answer the personaly questions." Joe rambled, his skin turning red.

At Joe's question she sighed... The truth? We never dated dated, but it crossed our minds... We tried going on a date or two, but it just wasn't working out that well as it did as best friends... So... Best friends forever and always together[/color] she said raising her hand in the air The tabloids, the companies and all that jazz wants us to get together because of the publicity that will bring... The utterly romantic thing huh? Two co-stars that fall in love and become an on screen-off screen couple...[/color] Vanessa said shrugging her shoulders And... no the pics weren't for Zac... And even if they were he would NEVER post those online. It's not his type. It was for my ex boyfriend... The biggest stupidity of my life if I may add... Joe repostioned himself, his foot under him, onther one still resting on the floor. Now he was facing her. He was relieved and happy that she hadn't taken his commenting on the fact that Zac was hot, others he knew would have blown up, and launched into an interview on his beliefs and shit. She was turning out to be really cool, very understanding, more people needed her mind set. The world would be a much better place if they did. "No I can't really say that I've seen pre-hot Zac. Probably wouldn't believe it's him. But it's cool that you guys are such close friends. My best friend, David Henrie, is here as well. We've been best friends since like we were little kids. He knows practically everything about me. He was the first one I told when I came out, then I waited til I came here. And told Demi, but that's because she stumbled in on me thinking, and we bonded quickly. Then my ex, Taylor Swift. I still need to tell Miley and Kevkev was told this morning. Over the last few years, with the sudden fame and all, she's been judged hard on a daily basis. Every little thing she did was under the microscope constantly. At the Disney image mention she groaned and fell on her side on the couch You are telling ME about it? Do you know that while I was under contract for the HSM movies they had to control EVERYTHING I did? And when the pictures surface they almost fired me but the fans and all protested, but they decreased my salary... Not that I care about money or anything, but still...[/color] Vanessa said. When she heard him saying that he was dating Miley she sat up straight again and looked at him Well... No I didn't know that you and Miley are together... But, since I consider her my little sister... You have to tell her... She has to know so you guys are on an even ground and even terms. He went looking for the aluminum foil, he found it relatively quickly and placed the food in the microwave. He walked over to Vanessa, "Well I'll be back in a minute, I've got to change. He gave her a quick hug, and ran upstairs.

He made his way to his room, and started through his suitcase. Throwing his clothes everywhere, not caring where they landed, but looking for that perfect outfit. Though he was dating Miley, he wasn't going to say no if events should arise. Finally he found it, and threw it on. He ran down the stairs, and sat down next to her. "How do I look?" He asked, sounding rather shallow.
