He was hurt yes but he wasn't about to down right admit it to her so after thinking he had decieded to just not say anything at all. To let his mind ru wild with the thoughts that now hunted him for no appearent reason. It's as though they wanted him to crash. To fail.
He wouldn't let that happen though. How could he? Of course he was a guy and a guy needed his needs filled but he was willing to wait for her. In the end it was all for it as long as she was happy right?
