  He was definately nervous, no doubt about that. But surely that was normal, he was revealing a huge secret. Still, he'd tried everything to prevent coming out for years. And all it took was one kiss with Nick, one little mistake on a reality show. So he wasn't really just coming out too Joe, but to the world. He wasn't sure if he was ready for that yet. It was bad enough that Kevkev knew, or would and so would his parents. Not to mention his clean cut Christian image would be tarnished. But all that seemed nonimportant when Kevin spoke, like it cleared things. " Yeah, I wouldn't mind. It's just I wanted to talk to you." He said, his tone scared. He turned toward the staircase, and walked toward it slow and hesistantly. Almost like it was the path to his death, and it was in a way. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Kevin nodded his head, wondering what was up by the tone of Joe's voice. He could tell that his brother seemed a bit off but tried to shake it off until they were at least down the stairs and into the kitchen. Usually Joe wasn't like this though and his voice seemed laced with fear, or at least that's what Kevin was thinking. He was hoping he was wrong though, because to what he knew there was no reason for Joe to be scared, especially when he was talking to him. "Are you okay Joe?" He asked softly when they were finally in the kitchen. While he waited for his brother's answer he dug through the fridge, trying to find a snack for himself. He came across an apple and crinkled up his nose, pushing it away like it had a disease. After going through a few drawers he gave up and started to search the freezer, pulling out a Popsicle.

" Am I okay?" He repeated, turning the question over inhis mind. Trying to think of an appropriate answer. He had two options, take back coming out, or telling the truth and waiting for Kevkev to explode. To tell him how immoral it was, that he'd end up in hell or something. He walked to the fridge and grabbed the apple that Kevkev had shoved aside. " Well...ugh...not exactly. I don't know how to put it. I just want to tell you something." He told Kevkev, unable to look him in the eyes. Instead he focused on the floor, taking a bite of the apple, and jumping on to the island. He sat there, chewing slowly, mulling over how he was going to put it. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -

Kevin cocked an eyebrow and slowly nodded his head, wondering why Joe seemed to be putting off whatever he had to tell him. Kevin knew this well enough to assume that Joe thought that Kevin was going to have a problem with whatever he had to tell him, which of cause made Kevin even more curious as to what it was. He pressed his lips together, forming a tight straight line. Then he shook his head a bit and took a bite of his Popsicle, sitting up by Joe on the island. "Are you going to tell me?" He asked gently, not really pushing at it. If Joe wasn't ready to tell him or didn't want to then he wasn't going to force him.

Joe made up his mind as Kevin asked him if he was going to tell him. He had to, it was the right thing to do. The only choice. " Kevkev, well it's complicated. I know that you don't want to hear this, but listen okay. That's all I'm asking, just please listen to the whole thing before you act. Okay, well Kevkev, you know how when we were younger and you always asked me if I liked someone, but i'd never say who? Well the reason behind that is because they were guys. Kevkev, I'm bi." He said, then feeling awkward he got down, and went to stand by the patio door. He looked out at the calm pool, a tear running down his cheek. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
